How to heal deep wound

I got one regani having deep cut. After dashing into a driftwood. Any idea what medication to use? It a real deep cut and I had remove some of the surround scales. Thanks

^^ I agree, it's a 50-50 shot depending how bad the wound is. Also you will need to increase the frequency of your water changes for the duration of the healing process and don't forget to replace salt with each water change.

ok thanks a lot. I had put melafix for past few day w/o salt. I go add some salt now. I can say is very bad cut. It almost 1cm by 3-4 mm wide.

If the wound is deep pour Peroxide over the area, it will foam just like when you use it on a cut. Once the wound is cleaned, paint it with Betadine or iodine. This along with very clean water will facilatate healing and prevent the wound from becoming infected.

Thats a hell of an idea^^ just remembre that if your gonna do this then do it right away and only once then continue treatment stated by others. if you were to use peroxide often it will increase the healing time of the wound. But i really like that idea. the longer ive been on MFK the more neat lil tricks like this ive learned. What a great and helpful community, thank you MFK
