How to heat sterilite tubs?

How could I heat single sterilite tubs for ball pythons? Like would a heat pad work? They will go into a rack eventually but not until I build it etc. And if a use a heat pad, what size per size tub? like what wattage for a 21 qt sterilite tube and so on. If you have any questions as to what I am saying I will do my best to explain. Thanks

and a thermostat or rheostat to control it

Flexwatt heat tape and a t-stat. Big Apple Herp has a t-stat that can control 3 seperate tubs.
