Last night my newly bought fish was beaten up by my Fire Mouth. It is a red hump geophagus and there was another one in the tank plus an oscar when I added it. It seems to have gotten stuck between the filter and the glass then got attacked at the tail and right side of the body.
I could see red in his tail at first, and its white not, and the color from lost scales (I think) is returning on the right side, but he doesn't swim well.
I think he's gonna make it just because it's been a day since then. Breathing slowed a little and is not as heavy.
So just opinion question do you think he's gonna make it? Seems like he's been getting better.
And also besides adding salt how can I help boost his recovery rate? Should I raise the water temp. to help this or not?

as long as you keep up with the water quality, all you should do is keep it away from the aggressor, and it will be fine

good quality warm water and keep everyone well fed so they dont pick at his wounds
