How to ID a palmas?

I bought a 8.5" palmas today and I just wanna make sure it is one. Are there any general patterns/color/characteristics I should be looking at? The top part of his body looks like a light green shade, and the bottom half is light pinkish.

Here are the pix, they're not that good so bear with me. The light doesnt show its light green shade on the top half of body, but does the headshape and body look like a palmas?

Woah wth. How big do they Usually get in the home aquarium? And was that 8.5 lap worth my $45?

looks more like lapradei.

I agree it looks like a lapradei to me too. They can grow to around 24". I think $45 is a good price for one.

In my area that is a great price. Stores here would sell them for around $120-$150.

For the record there are a palmas subspecies, so we can't really help ID a "palmas" unless you know chich one it is 1) Palmas Palmas 2) Palmas Polli 3) Palmas buettokoferi
