is there something i can add to my tank to keep these plants alive that wont harm or effect the fish what so ever... im not looking for anything extravagant. i have 2 anubis and a sword plant?, i attached the anubis to driftwood
Considering they're both medium/low light plants. You don't really need to add much else. But if you really feel like adding more, just toss in a Co2 diffuser and higher light output if your's isn't high enough already
Judging from the pic, I would say that sword isn't gonna last long. I would get the sword out of the shadows & into the direct path of light. They call swords low/medium light plants, but you wont get any growth if they dont get enough light. The anubias are right under the lights & they prefer the shadier spots. Also, be careful with liquid aquarium fertilizers like you find at the LFS. They will guarantee an algae problem if you're not careful...
i put another light on it today, got 2 on there now, thanks for the responses guys, hopefully all goes well, i normally dont keep real plants in my tanks, but lately im realy into the natural look
