How to keep bacteria alive?

How do you empty your tank, move it, refill it up (100% water change) while keeping the bacteria alive so you don't have to cycle it again?

Keep it wet with tank water... How long will it be until you hook it back up again?

put filters on another existing tank. drain tank water into a tote and put your gravel in with your filter hanging off the side

tank water in a 5 gal bucket with gravel put your BB media in as well use a bubbler for oxygen.

lots of diff ways just make sure your media stays in cycled water. un treated tap will kill your BB
