Hi,
I bought some California blackworms from the LFS for my Betta and feeder Guppies. I was keeping them in the fridge. But I read keeping them in the fridge is not best. Keeping them in the fridge only slows their metabolism so they produce less waste. And they also starve and only live for a few days. I rinsed my worms very good, maybe like 10 rinses and now they are in really clear water. I read this is what you are suppose to do.
I am not interested in breeding them, only keeping them alive. I got about a tablespoon sized chunk of worms and hope to keep them alive as long as possible. Does anyone know what conditions I need to give them to achieve this? Right now I have them in a cup in my room. Thx
