wassup everyone i just bought some brine shrimp for a baby xingu 1 and i asked the lfs owner how to keep em alive for awhile and he said just throw em in the fridge and theyll be fine is this true? can anyone give me any info/instuctions thanx-jey

An airstone and a cool spot work wonders, also net out the ones that die, I seldom buy more than a few days worth at a time because I'm at the Lfs at least once a week. I don't raise my own brine shrimp any more because I am not breeding fish at this time.

awwwww i love my sea-monkeys! they are getting transfered to a 96oz tank tonight!!!! brewers yeast is a great food if the alge just isnt growing!!!

Scrape the algae out of your other tanks and throw it in for the sea monkeys to eat. The algae sheets for feeding sw tanks could work too. I don't think I ever fed them on purpose before. Just sit their tank/bottle in direct sunlight and their food will grow.
