I was wondering if I could buy like 50 feeders and keep them in a 5 gallon bucket (since I have no spare tanks) with a air pump outside? Will they live if I do water changes every 1-2 days? I want my orinos to grow and they have only grown about 1 cm a month.I am planing to get rosy reds. Also I know they contain thymanide so should I feed 3 times a week? Will they survive or should I buy in smaller numbers (the only prob is I can only go once every 2 weeks to the LFS because I am busy. ow many feeders should I feed to 3 1.5-2 inch bass if I would feed twice a day?

So feed red wrigglers like 2-3 time a week? I can get them to eat the pellets but they spit it out so I was wondering if I should mix pelets and this to make a food to get them eating pelets

Get them on the pellets first. Don't feed anything but the pellets until they are greedily eating them. Then you can start feeding the red wrigglers several times per week.

Pellets are safest and best for growth. I used to give mine feeders on occasion and I would keep them in a rubbermade tub for about a month and fatten them up and drown them in chemicals to be sure I wasnt introducing anything bad with them. They do fine in cooler water and instead of just an airstone, attach it to a sponge filter and they will last for years (well probably have more after a year or 2)

I would recommend you feed them pellets from hikari thats my personal favorite!
Cause once they get used to feeders they will never eat pellets again.
