Well basically as it says, I have 120 gallon newly setup planted tank. And I have some ottos, and I knew and forgot before i bought them that they are known for eating silicone from the seams of the tank. And to no surprise this is what they are doing, is there any way to prevent this? As that would be a lot of damage caused by a little fish, however long it would take to damage the seal.

I didn't realize that ottos were strong enough to remove silicon. My Bushy Nose Plecos are doing the same thing. Fortunately they have only scrapped off the silicon in a few places. I have not found a practical way to discourage them.

I've had both ottos and bushy nose plecos. I never had an issue with either of them "eating" the silicon. I know many types of plecos eat drift/bog wood. I did have wood in my tanks at the time that I had ottos and bn. Maybe add some in your tank if you don't already have some in there.
