How to keep plant eaters and myself happy?

Hello,

I recently rescued 5 Silver Dollars and put them into a tank with two other smaller fish.... Anyway long story short is that they are devouring my plants that I have been growing in this tank. At the rate they are traveling they'll be through them by the end of the week...

I've researched a bit and found that anubias isn't part of their favorite diets so plan on purchasing a few of these plants. Is there any other plant that anyone can recommend to go into this tank or methods to keep them from getting the munchies?

Yeah I didn't realize that until i noticed they were getting devoured.

Someone had brought them in to my work and they were dropped in a quaritene tank wich had an eletric blue and yellow lab in ~37 that someone brought in two weeks ago(Manager claims them but won't take em home)...
Their fins are completely torn and look awful. Trying to nurse them back to health slowly... Well at least they are getting a stable diet of a variety of plants? lol
