What are the signs of a dead stingray? im so paranoid she is dead, she isnt panting anymore and its hard to see if she is breathing the front of the tank is bowed so looks funny, she isnt moving at all today i think ive lost her and i just cant handle it she was my baby ive done everything i could for her one day she was doing ok next day she was flipping over ive been testing her water everyday and it always came up fine

well if you have a soft rod or stick you can kinda nudge her and if she is alive she will move, if she doesnt move....then im sorry you lost her. Sorry to hear this buddy!
sorry to hear this. you should be able to see on the spiracles they should open and close right behind the eyes this shouldnt be hard to tell. then if you dont see them moving then i would also say give her a little nudge.
I hope you decide to stay with rays but next time get one that you see eat and one that eats alot. this way you know how much to feed in the future. i wouldnt suggest bloodworms i would fatten it up with night crawlers then train it over to other foods. and make sure you feed until its back is visibly humped and it wont eat anymore.
