So I have the option of picking up fish thursday to fly home with on friday.
How long can they stay bagged like that?
The store uses pure oxygen.

Do I want to have less water/more water?

Looking at some p. bass,
probably a whole bunch of minnows for feeders.
And an arrow etc. if I find a good deal.

I know people ship them around the globe, so how do I bag them, put in a cooler that will be good for 36hrs.

Thanks

The usual method is 1/3 water and 2/3 air/oxygen, a bag large enough to allow the fish to remain fully submerged regardless of which way the bag is turned and having the proper number of fish per bag depending on the size or aggressiveness of the fish.

Also be sure the fish you are planning on buying are legal where you are going to since you didn't mention where you are flying from. You may want to check with the airline if you are bringing the fish in carry on luggage.

In the USA you won't be able to bring the fish in carry-on, only through checked bags. Which are thrown around, toppled, sometimes even lost. Not sure if Canada is less strict or better with treatment of airline cargo (they probably are both).
Personally I would recommend shipping them overnight to yourself.
