how do u make brackish water? i need for my Silver Tip catfish

get the right salinity for your own fish. look up for resources.

You need marine salt & a hydrometer or refractometer to measure it. Don't raise the specific gravity more than .002/week or you'll kill off your biological filtration.

Please post your water parameters after that, to describe "fine" What SG is "full blown brackish"?

Don't rush it raise slowly or your tank will get new tank syndrome cause you will kill of the bio filter bacteria

go with pufferpunks advice. for my brackish tank whic is being cycled for new figure eight puffers i use some aquatic gardens marine salt and have a hydrometer.

How about for my New Guinea Tiger, how will i make my water brackish? Is it okay if he have Indo tiger, Arowana, peacock bass, clown loaches and silver ollars as tankmates? please help sir.

Is your tank about 300g? Because that's what your going to need for all those fish! Also, you have many totally freshwater fish on that list. Dats are not beginner fish & are difficult to keep stable. Tigers are very unique and challenging fishes to keep. It is a challenge as you need to find out the optimum conditions for them to show their beauty and this is no mean feat. Unlike other fishes, they are not easily pacified by just good food and good water conditions only.
