Hi,

What is the best and easiest way to make it? I wanna feed it to my Daphnia as a treat. I normally feed them yeast and fish flakes. I read around and watched videos. Basic ingredients is ammonia and light/sun. I put a thumb size piece of lettuce in a liter of water and put it on the window sill for 3 days and water does not look green. Some people say to add miracle gro. I have some, but nervous about using it. Daphnia are really sensitive and would hate for them to get poisoned.

Could someone give me a proven easy method of making it?

Well I know organic fertilizer (like guano) in a bucket of water in the sun gets you some green water real quick, tried it once out of interest.

Just dump whatever you feed the Daphnia (the fish flakes work) into some water and put it in the sun. That way you know its Daphnia safe.
