Nothing worse than walking into the room and my baby kelberi dart into random directions and end up on the bottom of the tank looking stressed as heck!

What can I do to make them interact with me? Or is it something I just have to deal with till they get bigger?

I've had them for almost 3 weeks now and they still hate me. But that's my fault. I do frequent water changes and I mess with the tank decor/substrate quite a bit.

If u keep "messing" with their decor / substrate they are gonna have a hard time adapting thus being stressed. They never got to adjust to one lifestyle yet

It can also be a function of the angle of the tank/the way you approach it. I find that fish tend to frighten more if their tank is in a position where I walk past the front of it (rather than towards or away) because I think they just see more/faster movement.

So a tank in a frequently traveled hallway would likely have nervous fish. This is just in my experience.

Lol ok.

I'll leave one drift wood in there and won't touch it. But 20-30%, water changes ever 2-3 days ill keep doing. I want them to have great water.

They're in my garage so they basically only see me.

A handful of times a day
