How to make my Dat look like dat.

Does anyone know how big these Dats are?
Also, what can I do to make a Dat look like the ones in the pics?
What would I feed them?
Any help would be appriciated.

It depends on the datnoid, some are very deep bodied.

You will find that widebars will tend to have this deeper body.

The datnoids in those pix are huge...and probably quite old.

I had one like the bronze datnoid pictured. I wish I didn't get rid of it..

I think there body is like that because of very heavy feedings with live feeders. I also don't think it's healthy for a dat to be that fat, the fat build-up in there body will shorten there lifespan.

i got 2 that are like that and there only 8 inches. i feed them smelt twice a day. it really depends on the dat. some are good eaters and some are not.. my 2 pulchers that i have that are fat like that grub on smelt all day. my other 2 are just skinny? i guess compared to those pics.

never hurd of people tanning tigers before

i have 2 x tigers that are that fat 1 eats prawn and pellets the other eats prawn and meal worms

the others eat just prawn and they are never that fat
