hi all expert. Can any expert tell me how to make my tank crystal clear? As I already set my tank about 2 months from now and is not clear yet.

What substrate, fish and filtration do you have? :)

Welcome to MFK by the way!

Yup your current setup info is needed

Test ur water. May not be fully cycled. Give some information about ur filtration, tank, fish etc. as other have mentioned.

Purigen from Seachem, filter sock or prefilter sponge, algecide if you have algae. As everyone already mentioned, a lot more info on your setup is needed. Did you cycle it before hand? Any livestock?

Thanks all for the reply. My filter box contain lava stones, bio ring, activated carbon and many more. I have cycled my tank about 1 month before I put the fish in. I have attached photos of my filter box and a photo of my current tank situation.

Your water looks pretty clear to me but there does look to be some midwater particles and some bits on the bottom. If you've got enough turbulence and your out take is positioned well then these particles should very quickly get taken to your mechanical filtration and removed. From that pic i can't see how big the tank is or how many dividers you have in there but i suspect the divider maybe playing a part in your problem.

esoxlucius esoxlucius is a 3ft tank. Before I put the divider there is all those thing flowing around already. And for the pass 2 months cannot be filtration haven removed this. I still do water changes every week.

A tank of only 3ft, with no decor for obstruction of gunk, with good flow and a well positioned out take should be crystal clear.

Is it possible water isn't being fully filtered? It looks like from your pictures that the filter pads in your top tray aren't fully flush with the sides, looks to be a gap which could allow unfiltered water through your system. Also, it looks like water comes into the top tray from the side and not from the top. I think most would agree that water coming in from the top and filtering down maybe best.

Is your filter media fully intact? For example, i know of people in the past who have used certain types of pot scrubbies with a nylon backing to scour the dishes. This nylon backing can rot and bits become dislodged. I think it's probably something and nothing which is easily solved, a bit of tinkering here and there.
