I have a 135G tank with rocky background, ceramic tiles as bottom and a piece of driftwood

Lighting I have a 48" single fluroscent light (38watt)

The dilters I have are 7" Silver Arowana, 7" Silver Dollar, 7" Sturio Catfish, 7" Sturgeon, 7" Sailfin Pleco, 3" Honey Gourami, and two 2" L127 pleco

My tigers are 9" IT, five 5"-7" IT, two 5.5" NTT, 5.5" NGT and 3" IT

What can I do to make my datnoids to feel comfortable and not hiding in the corner all the FREAKING time!!!???

I don't think by adding more dilter fish would help :irked::irked::irked:

When I dumped the shrimps in the middle of the tank, they will just rush in, grab the food and dart back into the corner! :(:(:(

What do you think????

Get rid of the NGT for a start.
Probably ok at this size but it's going to become a problem, not to be mixed with other Tigers.
The rest is time and patience. Feed at irregular times so they associate you (movement near the tank) rather than a time with food. Fish feed on instinct, you can feed it to maximum capacity and half hour late it will be ready to eat - at least it thinks it is! But don't overfeed.
Don't rush, enjoy them while their behaviour develops.

I think those dats would be happier in a tank of their own instead of with an aro and your other big fish. If you have the tank lights on all day, the dats won't like that and it'll make them want to hide. A tank of their own would let you have less lighting and make them come out more. And they won't have to compete all the time with your big aro for food and they'll eat a lot more. Plus, it seems your tank is a little overcrowded with all those monsterfish.

But if you don't want to get another tank, take out the NGT like the previous poster said. Also, take out the driftwood. I remember an MFKer here said that if you don't give dats a place to hide, they won't hide. I tried that and it works. Instead of a bunch of driftwood, I gave my dats 1 lava rock and a fake plant and that's enough for them. Most of them don't hide all the time.

What kind of filtration do you have? I think dats like very high filtration and very clean water so adding another filter might help them come out more.
