How to measure oxygen levels in your aquarium

Hi,
How would one go about measuring the oxygen levels in a planted tank?

what would the cost for a kit be roughly? any recommended brands, or are most all equal?

Agree with Joe, and you need to have the test kits or probe yourself, meaning this is not a test you can take a sample to your LFS to run.
The moment you take the sample, metabolites in the water create oxygen demand reducing the amount of oxygen in the water.
Dissolved oxygen is temperature dependent.
Water at 50'F is considered saturated at 12ppm, while at 80'F a 5ppm saturation would be normal.
