I have a 60g a 90g and a 210 that are currently empty. I have more tanks then that just these are the options for the arrowanas. I want to get like 3 or 4 or 5 silver arrowanas probly be about 3-6in. and 2 or 3 Jardini arrowanas about 2-4in. and put them together. What tank should I put them in first? I heard that to big of a tank and they establish territory, to small and they fight. How do I make this work. Please help.

best rethink that...

never more than one jar. and it has to be smaller then the silvers, it probably won't work, but keep on trying, sometimes it works, deppends on how agressive is your 1 jar. silvers the more the marrier, still, keep in mind your biggest tank is not big enough for more than 3 or 4...

my advice is get 2 blacks, 1 silver, one jar. ;)

size in order, black the biggest, then silver, than half size jar, just big enough not to be eaten ;)

You do realize that eventually you are going to need a tank in the 500plus gallon range with demesions of about 8-10 feet long and 3-4 feet wide.

Any combination that includes a jardini has only about a 15-20% chance of working. Your 210 gallon is not much bigger then my 180 gallon, I currently have two 21-24" silver aros in that tank, trust me that is that max. There is no room to have any more aros then that in that size tank.

mate... best of luck... but 3 jars would be a big no if our positions were reversed... keep the jar the smallest... i guess tat should be fine... u should know tat jars are known 2 be very temperamental... haf fun...

Your 3 jars will kill each other.. i had to learn the hard way

thanks everyone for their help. I have seen jardinis together and was just asking. I will just get one and three silvers and yes I know they will out grow the 210 but it will be cool for a while until I find a better home for them.

Yup, seen 2 large Jars together also, lots of scars from past aggression though. Like everyone else, once the fish gets too large, can always sell or giveaway free

Defintely just 1 jar and stretching it 2 silvers. GL!

i suppose primarily make sure they're well fed and haf enuff space 2 swim in... hope i ain't wrong... LoL... cheers...
