Here is the issue. I live in Chicago. I go to college in Wilmington, North Carolina, about 16 hours of driving away. I just decided I am renting a house down here this summer, so more than likely I will not be living at home again. Back home I have 8 tanks, a 10, 2 20s, a 25,a 29, 2 55s, and a 75. Issue here is trying to figure out how I am going to get at least some down here. I'm going home for 4 days at the beginning of april, then I'll be driving down here. I don't have to move them all at once, because I will probably be home over christmas break or something. I have a shortbed pickup with a bed extender. I think I can fit the 75, but if not I'm bringing a 55 and maybe a few others. Big issue is I have a scomb growing out that I want to bring down with me, and I want to make sure he gets down here safe as possible. I have moved fish for distances of 1 hour in coolers with bio media floating in them and air pumps. Anything else I need to do for the extra long ride? I'll probably keep the fish in the cab of the truck for fear of something happening on the road.

wrap a heat pack in some newspaper then place it into a fish bag, maybe even double bag it, then let it hang in the box just above the water level.
thats what i did for a 5-6hr journey, plus the equipment you already mentioned.

I've kept fish 3 days in a bucket until I moved and got my 125 up. They were in an apartment though and I didn't move the bucket around alot just to check to see if they were alive. You'll be fine on airwise but lower temps might not be good.
