how to pair up fh

i currently have breeding pair of convict and some 3" fhs,i bred convicts successfully and now i am considering to create a hybrid between my female con and male fh but dont know how to pair them up,can anyone suggest me about pairing them or my female fh with male con and what do u think which parents should be mixed a male fh X female con or a male con X female fh to get fh body shape and colours with stripes.

wait for the flowerhorn to mature and place a divider in the tank with a dish on the males side and a hole small enough for the female con to fit threw and that the male cannot when there ready the female will pass threw the whole and breed with the male

I think supergourami means the egg crate light diffusers. not the kind used to hold eggs lol.
