How to pellet train pbass

HI I was wondering how do I pellet train my pbass I feed him blood worms he loves those but when I put pellets in their he eats it then spits it out what do I do thanks

Agreed and it is a good sign that the bass at least tries the pellets.I would gradually discontinue the bloodworms while continue to offer the pellets.The pbass should soon keep the pellets down without spitting them out the more it gets used to them.

When I was getting mine on pellets, it helped when I switched to smaller pellets. Even though it can get the larger ones in its mouth, it may be uncomfortable for it to swallow them, so the spit them out instead.

With some species that's the only way to get them trained.

My kel did not really eat pellets until it had to compete for food with a couple Choc Cichlids. Eats whatever hits the water now....algae wafers, pellets......plastic ups. Anything.
