How to Pick up a pleco?

Just curious, how is proper way to pick up a pleco? Does it stress them out if you're trying to pick them up? Just curious, any video I can watch or something? Thanks.

I personally pick them up between the pictorial fins.

I don't pic up fish unnecessarily as it stresses them.

If they have spines, not with a net since they can get stuck in the net.

Safest way will be to use gloves with the rubber coating and to use two hands. Some folks pick them up from there back by placing their fingers between their side fins, others pick them up by their heads and belly. For the big boys you want to use two hands for sure. Some plecos can be more relaxed than others which will making picking them up even without gloves easy but just to be safe use gloves.
