How do you plumb a uv sterilizer? I was thinking about getting one and I was wondering on how to plumb it. Could I just plumb it inline with the return from my sump?

I do the same, no need for a separate pumb if you have a sump or cannister, just feed the return line through it.
here's how i set up mine. just make sure no air is sitting on top of the UV light. and try to see some examples on the user manual.
This is how i plumbed mine, I just ran it off an xp3 so its doing the tank like 1 1/2 times an hour but is doing a better job off the xp3 (350gph) than it would be doing with the 1200gph that my sump runs on, b/c the longer the water stays in the Light chamber the more the sterilizer affects the water it is sterilizing.
Can't beat that advice... and do make sure that if your pump fails or looses prime that UV isn't left dry.
