right now they are in a 20 gallon holding tank, once they grow big they will be transferred.

TheCanuck, am I gonna have to give you another "pot calling the kettle black" lecture? Your Bumblee grouper could grow large enough to swallow an adult RTC whole. I don't care what plans you have, there is no one on MFK with a large enough marine tank to house that fish.

This is true. There is nobody anywhere in this world who can provide big enough tanks for these kind of fish. Some ppl just take it too seriously and then again alot of them are hypocrits. IMO if you don't have anything nice to say then don't bother replying...

oh wow, did not expect so much post in so little time, i was on the phone, and i click refresh...boom 3 pages lol, anyway yes is a 220gallon, and i have done many research on rtc, just would like suggestions on how to pump them. i know they will over grow the tank, but so what? while i have the chance to enjoy them i will be doing that, is not a mistake i'm making, is a hobby i am keeping. once is big i give to the zoo which is few blocks away from my house. and i know they take good care of them, or else they'd be dead! :D anyway regardless of the useless fight you guys had....i thank you all very much for the suggestions. and would like to know anyone else who has some good idea on how to pump these guys, thanks!

those fish will outgrow that tank very fast. first of all i would deffinately triple or quadruple the filter on that tank. these fish will produce a TON of waste. for feeding, continue with shrimp and flakes(flakes, only for a couple more weeks). you can also add tilapia fillets, bloodworms, and beef heart. when the pacu get a little biger, you can do hikari cichlid bio gold. the RTC prolly wont eat that from the surface so i would get hikari massivore or carnivore delight for him. whatever you do, do feed feeder fish of any kind as long as you can.

good luck with the fishes bro.

To boost their growth feed few times a day with small meals with lots of protien. shrimp/mysis etc. Feeder fish would make them grow very fast too but beware of diseases and short life span.
