well now that i got a stronger pump its a different place i need to quiet now lol

anyone have any ideas on how to quiet niagara falls part 2?lol

would a ball valve before this 90 help?
i dont think so cus i would have to slow the flow at this point

thought of sticking a piece of pvc in the 90 so the water comes out closer to the drip plate
but nothing fits inside

also thought a bowl under it but then the water wouldnt be getting under the bowl

so any ideas?

coarse filter pad would dampin some of noise. laid across drip plate.

Why don't you have a filter pad on top of your drip plate, the blue bonded one works well but you will still hear something.

Blue bonded = The blue and white stuff.

I would take the 90* off and lay the pipe on the edge of the sump so that the water flows onto the drip plate instead of falling onto it. You would have to secure the pipe some how but I don't see that being very difficult.

if you put filter floss under the pipe so that it touches the pipe it pretty much kills the noise

looks good, yeah i find that if something is touching the pipe and the drip plate it makes it quiet. you used a scrubbie i use filter floss
