Hello everyone! I currently have 4 flowerhorns, 3 SRD males? and 1 "queen" kamfa. One of the males is my first flowerhorn that I got when he was about 2in? and now he's around 4 in I think and the king kamfa is around 3in now.

My last two SRD are new and I just recently purchased them from flowerhorn714 :) They're around 1-1.5 in and I want to raise them to their greatest potential. Now that's where any advice I can get comes in. I'm still new to flowerhorns, so I'd like a step by step process of raising and care for them if someone can help me out. I currently have a 29 gallon, 23 long, and a 130 gallon.

The 23 long is housing my 4in srd currently and my 29 has some cichlids, the two SRD, and my non aggressive female. I know, I know, my 29 is overstocked and has a divider for the two srd, but I just recently got my 130, so slowly starting to fill it up and cycling it out so that I can have more room.

I think these two fry have some great potential and I'd like to raise them right. So I would like advice from substrate to background to food to tank size and whatever there is to know out there! aha

Thank you guys very much! =]

btw, the 23 long and 130 are outside, dad wont let me keep them in the house. Too big.

Clean water, quality pellet and stable temps, think of fhs as any other ca cichlid, they're not a wonder fish that require something out of the ordinary. Just watch the aggression. Check out the stickies, plenty of helpful info.

For sure, I've read those in the past, but I'm wondering about food and environment. ie tank size, staple foods, etc
