How to raise Brine Shrimp

I am trying to raise brine shrimp to adult size to feed my ram cichlids but am having a hard time keeping them alive, i hatched them using the bottle method and transfered them into a 10 gallon with a sponge filter and a desk lamp for light. any ideas on how to raise them would be appreciated.

also as an aside i heard that there is a freshwater version of brine shrimp called fairy shrimp, are these any easier to raise?

Why do you need to raise them to adult size to feed to rams? Baby b.s. has the most nutrition when they first hatch. As each day that passes, their nutritional level falls dramatically, by the time b.s. hits adulthood, you got zero nutrition left.

On the flip side, you can raise b.s. by feeding them yeast.

i wanted something small enough for them to eat but lively enough to chase. just something for them to munch on besides chichlid flake and frozen food.
