How to Raise Healty Feeders

I have heard numerous warnings about feeding feeders from the pet store because of the possibility of them having parasites or diseases.

How could I keep my own feeders and ensure that they are healty. Do I have to raise them from birth. Or could I purchase some and treat them with something?

Depends on how many fish i was trying to feed.Personaly i raise mine and treat them as I would any of my fish and use them only as treats.That way I know exactly how they were raised.-Anne
