OK so i havent been on this site in a long time so im not sure of what im doing so if this thread is in the wrong spot or something just tell me thanks

So here is whats happened ok so i have 2 largemouth bass that i found in a puddle that was about to dry up they are about 1.5 inches and im just wonderin how to raise them. right now they are just in one of those guppy breeder things because i cant let them into the main part of the tank because my jack dempsey will eat them. he has some kind of fungus tho and i think he's gonna die :( so the bass will inherit the tank soon. but ummm im just wondering how to raise them (what and how much to feed them and stuff like that). i found a bunch of little half inch baby fish in other drying up puddles and they eat them but like i said the puddles are drying up so that sorce probably wont last but a week or two. so yeah i could really use help from anyone that has experience or knows what they're doing. Thanks for all replies i appreciate all help

well i have raised a 4 inch largemouth that was a victim to stork attack he had a hole in his back largemoth need clear clean water to hunt in my bass was in a 25gallon tank with a bubble rock to circulate the water bass can live in ponds fairly well and sometimes low oxygen waters but they need air to survive you can feed them cheap 38 cent feeder goldfish the bass cant rlly have tank mates that fit in their mouths they will eat any other fish including smaller bass my bass for awhile shared the tank with a bullhead catfish which was the same size once they got to big which they will i had to move them worms crawdads and natural foods will work to easy to take care of and raise and the bass can get the fungus if they are in the same water as the other fish so change the water and clean the tank with hot water to kill off the fungus i had a fungus wipe out a whole pond of fish it is not fun to deal with

get off live asap, will help in the long run, they will take pellets, silversides etc. no heater required just becareful of tankmates that will fit in their mouths. They are pigs.
