I have a 55 gallon tank, and want to use a 20L as a refugium.
I think I understand the principle behind making the overflow go to the refugium, which will lay underneath the 55. How do I get it to flow back into the 55 against gravity?
My other question is the construction of the refugium itself, which I'm using as a sump. What chambers do I make, what do I use as dividers, just the general "how to put together" of the refugium.
I'm very new to this whole idea and have virtually no idea what I'm doing, but am dead set on doing this and am very ready to learn!
I've searched for DIY sump/refugium but couldn't find directions or posts exactly.
