How to remove overflow from acrylic tank?

Can someone please tell me the best way to remove an overflow from an acrylic tank? If i cant figur out how to do it I guess I'll just stick a heater and powerhead in there and drill some more holes.

With a Hammer. Or with an astroid, since your in space:ROFL:J/K

Good Q, I thought of the same thing...anyone? If it is cracked then pulled off, how much damage do you think it will do to the tank?

Wouldn't the safer way be just to dremel it out? that way you wouldn't risk breaking of part of the acrylic where it used to be and less likely to be damaging to the tank.
