How do you effectively remove the water stain left usually by evaporating water from your aquarium? i tried brushing it with soap but it still remains cloudy and rough. any tips on how to remove them? im planning to revive my old 100 gallon.

thanks

New sharp razor blade, just be gentle and it will scrap all off! Done it many times, watch the slilicone tho! GL

simple, vinegar and some elbow grease with a good scrub will get that off for you, works wonder for me and is the cheapest method

Are products like CLR safe to use if the aquarium is occupied?
NO!!!
You'd be better off with vinegar like skjl47 said, & I'd still be careful not to get much of that in the water

Vinegar works really well, I have not tried CLR yet but have wanted to. Just to be clear though, nothing chemical should ever be used in a tank that's running, including vinegar.
