I got it from a guy I work with, he was just going to throw it away so I figured I'd try fixing it. He dropped it and now its a little messed up. Its acrylic/plexiglass don't know what the difference is. Its cracked in a few spots and I want to reinforce it. The overflow has a chip off of it too and I want to repair that also. What should I use to reinforce it? More plexi? And what can I glue it with? Is aquarium silicone good?

You should be able to use an acrylic patch to reinforce cracks and chips, but you won't be able to use aquarium silicone. It won't adhere to the acrylic very well. You will have to use an acrylic welding product like weld-on. It can be found a you neighborhood Home Depot or Menards.

Good luck.

You have to get Weldon from an acrylic supplier but int he past I have just used clear PVC glue (green label, for get the specific type) and was able to fix busted acrylic overflow. If its a sump and done need to be pretty you may just want to do that.
