How to safely sedate a ray?

What are the recommendations for sedating a ray? Process, products, tips, tricks, etc.

I just saw the post on a ray with a stinger in it's head and I thought I should get prepared with the necessary products to safely sedate a ray.

Where do you recommend getting the supplies?
