I bought a beckett water pump for a tiny sump I'm building. Finished the overflow, and am putting things together and I realized I don't have anything to make sure the tubing stays on the output of the pump. I've tested it, and the tubing stays on while running, but I was thinking of adding a zip tie or something. Is there a special way to make sure the tubing stays on a water pump?

At your local hardware store, you'll find plumbing clamps that should be used with any soft tubing. Teflon goop (not tape) and pvc primer/glue should be used with sch 40/80.

Yeah hose clamps for soft. Im assuming soft (vinyl, corregated plastic) because i dont know how you could use a zip tie (which will not work for anything) for PVC.

And because you said tubing. :)

I`ve found, even with hose clamps, I could still get a drip from the hose connections.
I cured it by a bit of silicone on the hose barb before clamping.
