How to set up a school of bosemani rainbows

I read that these are hard to set up schools. I would like to have a male and one female. So they have plenty of swimming room.

Then i read that you should not mix sexes under schools of five members..

Then in groups of six: 2 males 4 females
Groups of seven: 3 males 4 females
Groups of eight: 4 males 4 females
Groups of 9: 4 males 5 females
Etc

When I had them I just bought 20, I believe it was 50/50 m/f. They did wonderfully well and looked beautiful swimming together.

I love the looks and I watched some and they were fun to watch.

I don't want to overload the tank too much

So I could get two males hmm

How big of a tank are you stocking?

I believe we had 2m 3f in my sons 60 cube that did just fine, never had an issue with them.

75 is 48x18 right? Plants your choice of bottom feeders and a dozen bosemani would be nice I think.

Yes I think so, I measured it. I have fish already. I bought it for my angels gouramis and keyhole cichlids too grow freely.

My angels are six months old and are already 5 inches tip to tip
