the tank size is 36x18x18.. dont know hom any gallons it is...
i have a 12'' spotted gar, 2x 13''iridescent sharks, 2x bichir, 1 7'' cobra snakehead....
i will be getting a jardini or a spotted arowana soon...
The tank is currently running on Eihem 2213...
I wanted to know what kind of decor i should add, and any special lighting required ??? and anything else i should and should not do.....

Thats a 50 gallon tank. To have you fish you would have to double that tank in every dimension (72x28x28) at least. I would not suggest getting anymore fish, esp something that gets as big as a Jar. Also you need a biiger tank for the fish you have now.

I hope you are having us on.

Ya gars do grow much bigger than 3feet... the pond should be ready in about 2-3 weeks time... have my exams going on now.... will be giving the sharks away one of these days... and the snakehead also....

And i wanted to know is it worth paying 200$ for an Asian Green Arowna ????
i think is slightly less than that.. Its about 8". I wanted to gift it to my girlfriend.

Assuming you're talking of US dollars I'd say no. Even in the UK where prices are pretty steep you'd be looking at a fraction of that price.

That said, it us of course true that the price of a fish is determined by what the market will sustain and the cost of production, but I'd have expected prices in India to be no more than in the UK.

I might expect the price to be somewhat eleveated if the fish are illegal in India due to the endangered nature of these fish or concerns that these fish might become a pest. In which case you shouldn't consider buying one anyway.
