I receive my fx5 on thursday and was looking to pick up the media for it tomorrow any suggestions on what I should purchase? Its gonna be for my 125gal which has 2 Penguin 350 HOB. Thanks, Joe
How to set up my fx5???

I got both of mine set up like:
Top tray: Fine filter pads. (The blue ones)
Middle tray: Biomax and a fine filter pads.(The blue ones)
Bottom tray: Biomax and a polishing pad.
Top tray: Fine filter pads. (The blue ones)
Middle tray: Biomax and a fine filter pads.(The blue ones)
Bottom tray: Biomax and a polishing pad.
alllllllll bio max unless u need mechanical filtration. i.e. u have cloudy water. i use prefilter in my top basket however, that will be used to store larger materials that get sucked up into the filter.
each basket needs 1500 grams of bio max. that's 3 boxes per basket. and if u go with the prefilter media its 2 boxes per basket.
