HOW TO SETUP FLOW IN 100GAL WITH TWO CANISTERS?

IM PLANNING ON PICKING UP ANOTHER FLUVAL TOMORROW TO ADD TO MY 100GAL BECAUSE OF THE NEW FISH LOAD I AQUIRED. WAS WONDERING WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SETUP THE DUAL FILTERS AND THEIR INTAKES AND EXHAUSTS?

Putting both intakes on the same side would produce more linear flow I think. Thats probably what I would do.

Im running 2 fluval 404's in my 125 and i have it so each intake is on opposite corners and their outlets pointed twords the center. it causes a random flow in the tank which ushually elliminates dead spots. (trick i learned in saltwater) and i also have a powerhead blowing at the suface.


another option would be to run the "linear" for which causes a stream effect.

thanks for the advice, and I'm going to try the setup with the two intakes on one side and see how the fish react to the directional flow in one direction
