I got a good deal on a Marineland C-360, so I bought it for my 40 gallon breeder. This is my first canister filter and I'm wondering how to set it up? It has 4 media trays, and I want as much biological filtration as possible. Eh, I guess I want as clear water as possible but I heard bio-filtration is a big factor in this. Anyhow, should I go with foam in the first tray, biomedia in the next 2, and then a polishing pad or something similar in the top and final tray? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
