I was just wondering how to sex ruby sharks since i have one and i want to know if its male or female. i read somewhere that males have a black-outlined anal fin but im not sure if thats true.

As a general rule for cyprinids, the females normally are fatter, especially when they're full of eggs (thats a no brainer). Otherwise, what you saif about the black-outlined fin is said to be true, though I haven't seen it myself.
Oh ok. My shark has an anal fin thats almist completely black but its still little so i guess ill have to wait.
