I am selling a 40 gallon breeder and found a buyer in another state who will pay for shipping. What is the best method to do this? UPS, Freight, Greyhound?

You'd need to pack excessively with styrofoam in a box larger than the tank. Fill the interior of the tank with large styrofoam blocks and line the outside of it with thick styrofoam too, then box it.

make sure you are not being paid by check or money order, lot of fraud out there.

? Money orders are fine.. as long as they're from the post office.

Really I have about 40 counterfeit Postal Money orders on my desk right now.

Fraud does not sound like your strong point!:WHOA:

Here are some REAL counterfeits

very very carefully...

Ah, point taken. I've never been on the receiving end, just the sending [and all of mine were legit!]. I thought sellers usually sent when the money order was cleared?

How do you know when a money order clears? Are you going by when the bank gives you access to the money? A postal money can be charged back to your account 6 months after you deposit it.

Just a little information. If you cash them at the Post Office you should be in good shape, never deposit them into your bank account.
