I REALIZE A BOX IS GOOD HOWEVER WHAT IS A GOOD METHOD TO USE STEP BY STEP I HAVE NEVER SHIPPED LIVE GOODS BEFORE AND I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY FIRST LIVE FISH SHIPMENT YET

This is what I've seen when receiving live "goods".
Styrofoam. (6 pieces for each side including the top and bottom)
Newspaper to help insulated it and keep the bag nice and snug.
And heat packs if needed. (As well as the fish bag itself!)
It changes from person to person, but hopefully you get come sort of an idea about what to do now. ;)
 
I just received a shipment of snails today and they were packed in baggies of water in a styrofoam box with a cold pack. They were all healthy.

I received a shipment last week without the styrofoam or cold pack and they were mostly dead. So, I recommend styrofoam and cold pack if you live anywhere hot.
