Hey guys I bought some seachem garlic guard and vita-chem freshwater supplement. Do i just get a small cup and but the supplement in the cup then put the pellets in them and let them soak or do i add some water then add the supplement?
And how long do I leave them in the supplement?

personally I add both products to a shallow amount of water. Enough to cover the pellets fully saturated with water. and let the mixture soak a good 15 mins or so depending on the brand of pellet/food. Then when I feed the pellets out I dump the water/vit mixture into the tank. So generally I use tank water to begin with.

I use both products regularly. For me I think the time it takes to soak is less important than how much of the supplement actaully went into the food. The first few times when I use either product I jut put the amount of food I feed my kids in a cup. Then i use an eyedropper to add the supplement drop by drop with a minute gap in between. Eventually the food will not take up anymore drops.

After doing that for 2 or 3 times i have a good idea of the food and supplement ratio, the everytime i just add the same amount and wait until the whole thing is soaked through that I see not too much excess Vitachem or GarlicGuard is left.
