Singapore
I'm interested to start a catch and release outdoor pond. where anglers will pay for their time to fish at the pond. freshwater monster fish will be in the pond. kindly advice how can i go about doing it?

I think that sounds great! All you need is alot of money and the laws you have to deal with in your country. :)

Step 1: Find a good size river.
Step 2: buy property beside said river.
Step 3: build huge holding ponds beside river.
Step 4: Divert river through holding ponds and back into the river down stream, Useing the natural flow of the river to filter the holding ponds.
Step 5: Oh, wait.... i hope you have some very deep pockets $$$$$$.

Singapore has no natural river for that purpose lol. It will be hard because singapore does not have alot of avid fishermen. How to build a pond: Get a piece of land, dig a hole that is deep, fill it up with water, add fish. Singapore wont need a heater since its on the equator. Its going to be hard to survive though.

hahaha if it's successfull i'll stock up chao praya, GBL, redtail, partin catfish, stingray and many more... yeah there ain't river in singapore. I'll have to dig a big wide and deep pond!

It sounds like an awsome idea. But just take one giant step back for a secound. To actually do this you are going to need a huge inital investment. That might not see a profitable return for quite some time. If you have the funds or can acquier the funds then go for it.

I would how ever suggest you do alot of research before hand. I belive it might be more coast effective to find a large piece of land with an existing pond or several existing ponds rather than starting from scratch. This way you could stock the ponds that are already there and expand from that. You are going to want to have multiple ponds avialble for the fishermen. I for one would not want to pay good money to fish a pond where there are 20 or so other fishermen fishing for the same trophy fish.

If you do have to start from scratch and dig all new ponds. Think about this frist. How long is it going to take before you can put fish in it. I do not know much about singapore. Like how much it rains there. What kinda water soruce are you going to have and the soil conditions. How long is it going to take before the ponds are full of water. Is there a ready supply of fresh water and are there any drought issues to be concerned about. The soil is very important. You are going to need to have the soil tested for all sorts of things. Then you will know what you will have to add to the pond to keep it balanced.

Now you are going to have to find out where you will get the fish from. Around here in North Carolina you can buy catfish by the pound or by the truck load. You will need to stock big fish(what ever you are wanting to stock) and smaller fish. So make sure you can acquier adults and juvenile ones. At a price that is not going to break the bank. Also another thing to consider is what the fish are going to eat. Are you going to stock the pond with food fish or feed them pellets of some sort. Also the over all health of the fish is another thing to think about. You are going to want to put in place some sort of disease management or prevention program to help minimize the lose of giant fish.

This may be the very most important part of you business venture. The advertising. There are many online sites for free advertising. How ever I would sugest putting adds in the big wildlife magazines. Like North American Fisherman. The Great Outdoors and others. The best advertising is the free advertising. Word of mouth is the very best. Get several high end clints and treat them like royalty, but with an adventurist twist.
You are also going to have to think about how you are going to get the fishermen to you. Normaly you would have to arrange transportation to and from the location. You are going to need to provide lodging for all of the guest. Not nessicarily 1st class accomodations, but something more thank a shake. Also food and guides for the local area.

I just hope you look at the whole picture instead of just the fish pond and the fish.
The best advise that anyone can give you right now is to educate yourself as well as you can on this subject.

Good luck and great Fishing
