How to sterilize from salt to fresh.

Ok weird question but I have no idea what to do. Ok I put together this really nice acclimation kit completed with a medical IV drip counter, my brother used it for his saltwater and now its got dried salt in the drip chamber. What can I do to sterilize this kit again and make it safe for acclimating new fish into fresh water?

I know this is wierd but let me know.

viengar is excellent for removing the salt / other saltwater mineral buildup or if you have it on hand i used hydrogen peroxide

Ok I got hydrogen peroxide and vinegar. So do I just run it through it then follow with water to clean?

Yep, once you get most of the residue out, just flush it with distilled water a few times
