Well we just got back from being out of town for a few days and our ray is just not eating like he used to? We did a couple of small water changes that added up to about 40% of the water over two days to see if that would rev up his appetite? no luck, even went out this morning for his favorite earthworms, not even a nibble....any help suggestions? test kit results are in the norm and even took the water to an LFS to double check parameters.........

Let me know what you do to urge your ray(s) to start eating again?

kick the temp up to 86

bump up temperature

lol, thanks a lot karmann

You know I have seen this is other pets when I come back from vacation, where they throw a tempertantrum because you were gone, and its like they missed you and then they get mad at you and boycott your interactio with them for a little bit, is it possible that rays are just as smart and have the personality to do that? Makes you think...., Im sure it will start eating in a couple days, just give it time

ummm I know that fish will react to garlic extract but not sure about rays, anybody know or ever try this out before?

I used to soak my tanks food with garlic but never noticed any difference in how the rays ate...

Well things have gone from bad to worse, found my Ray upsidi down in the back corner. Quicly moved him to a quaritine tank..it's not looking good.at least he's right side up now..will keep you updated....:irked::cry:

if water parameters are good, what else could it be? any signs of parasites or infection?
